Battlefield Bad Company 2, the latest PC release from Electronic Arts and Digital Illusions as of March 2nd, 2010, is an action packed squad-based first person shooter. Similar to many of the recent Battlefield games, Bad Company 2 involves a great deal of team work over large maps, which creates many ways for players to gain points towards their next rank and better weapons. The several classes available to players provide a large variety between what style of combat you want to engage in or what class you want to advance in with better weapons and different features. The only other Battlefield game released since Bad Company 2 (for the PC) to show blood is Battlefield Vietnam.

Bad Company 2 is mainly an online squad based fps game, but it also has single player campaigns where the player plays the role of Preston Marlowe, the hero of the original game.

Let’s find out with some hands on experience.
In this modern military shooter, the online multiplayer gameplay features huge maps, unbelievable destructibility, powerful vehicles, and awesome sound design. The combination of these features makes you feel that you are fighting on an actual battlefield, making many other online shooters seem more like combat arenas than believable war zones. The multiplayer campaigns are refreshing and very addictive but this is not the only thing that BC 2 offers. The single player campaigns are rich in scenery with striking and highly detailed locales which will take your breath away. The amusing squad companions with their witty comments and endearing attitude give this game a real human angle which is not generally found in FPS games.
The start of BC 2 finds Sarge, Marlowe, Sweetwater, and Haggard stationed in a wintery valley, supposedly serving out Sarge's last tour of duty. From towering mountains to bright blue skies, from remarkably detailed urban designs to jungles replete with the sound of buzzing mosquitoes, snow-capped trees and frozen rivers, footsteps muffled by snow and the list goes on. The remarkable detail and vivid imagery is a tribute to BC 2’s excellent technical expertise and presentation skills. This scenery is accompanied by outstanding matching sound effects which promise a thrilling game experience. Another brilliant feature of this game is the ability to explode or destroy almost anything, from trees, dustbins, pillars, buildings, barricades, vehicles... the list is extensive and exhaustive. This ability is a stand-out feature of this game and adds a new dimension to the gaming world, offering the gamer the pleasure of destruction. The range of havoc and destruction that you can generate is massive and gives you the feeling of being powerful and indestructible in a logical manner. The range of weaponry and vehicles is also designed to dazzle you. Helicopters, tanks, jeeps and the associated strategies to disable them, grenade launchers, snipers, the whole lot is again impressive.
