Battlefield 1942 was indeed a fantastic game which brought a great experiance of World War 2 to the PC. It recieved awesome ratings from game websites, and redefined the FPS world... Battlefield Vietnam continues the great experiance of PC gaming, as the second game of the Battlefield Series. EA Games accomplished a marvolous task when releasing this game from the incredible special features and maps of Vietnam, which bring the feel of M16's and AK-47's to your monitor. The game now has many mods out for download one of which is the BF 1942 mod with 3 new maps.

The game consists multiple maps from the well known land of Vietnam. These maps, brought from the Vietnam War, contain different surroundings and environments such as: City, Jungle, Rivers, Air Battling, MORE Air Battling, Mountains, and much more.

Many BFV Players find themselves inside one of the many Huey Gunships tearing up the land. The skies of Vietnam are constantly lit up with missles and machine gun fire, as the chopper pilots battle off.

Weapons and Vehicles

Huey Gunship:

The famous Huey Gunship is by far the most popular and destructive piece of metal in the game. Many player go solo with the Huey shooting off missles left and right at armor, helicopters, and even infantry. With a gunner, this vehicle becomes even more crazy. You now have a better advantage against other helicopters and even able to shoot down planes with enough accuracy. The well-known "Circle Rape" has become a somewhat irritating to infantry as during this chaos the pilot spins around base in the chopper, shooting everything that moves with its spray of missles.

Mi-8:

Another helicopter of the game. This piece of equipment has its advantages as well as the Huey. To proove as a equal force to the Huey Gunship, the Mi-8 contains 2 double missle shooters. Firing once, automatically shoots off 2 missles left and right. Each click (right and left) fire these, and shooting them together, well, we can say it causes havoc. Four missles fired at once coming towards your Huey does not look like a nice gift to say the least, and you better be good in the air to avoid these "mini nukes." This chopper does not have a gunner seat for a machine gun, which seems to be the hardest thing Mi-8 pilots face. The Huey's machine gun causes large amounts of damage to the Mi-8, but the power of its double missles are balanced with that force.
